Drawing Still Life’s with pencil or chalk. Starting with 1 object and adding 1 object after every drawing. Observing the still life from different perspectives.
Great insight in the 3D forms of the objects. Good that you drew the basic shapes. Good use of shadows and contrast.
Research about how hands work. Observing your own hands. In sketchbook.
Watercolor Still Life
Painting Still Life’s with watercolor paint. Starting with 1 object and adding 1 object after every drawing.
I love to use watercolor paint for this, because watercolor paint is hard to control. For this reason water color paint works liberating for me. It can t be perfect and I love all the little mistakes.
Beautifully worded, the effect of having no control being liberating. Amazing to see the transition between the stages of layers. Great focus on shapes, shadow and contrast.
